Taipei City Government Has Held the 2nd Panel Discussion of the “2015 Joint Illustration Meeting for Public Land Development” at Mandarin Oriental Taipei on Nov 26th, 2015, and It Has Ended Successfully with Keen Participation from the Industry.

Taipei City Government (TCG) hosted the 2nd Panel Discussion of the “2015 Joint Illustration Meeting for Public Land Development” in Mandarin Ballroom of Mandarin Oriental Taipei at 10:30 a.m. on the 26th of November. Potential bidders were briefed on the background information, developing potential and bidding process of the projects. Mayor Ko Wen-je attended the meeting and had discussions with investors face-to-face. Ko noted that these development projects will create business opportunities in Taipei. The meeting ended successfully with keen participation from the industry.

 

There were ten development projects proposed in the meeting, including “The creation of superficies for 13 lands, including 3rd Subsection, Gongyuan Sec., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City”, “Development Project for Nangang Biotechnology Park”, “Land Development Project for Support Facilities of Neihu Technology Park”, “Project for Promotion of Private Participation in North Transit Station”, “Nangang Transit Station BOT Project”, “Land Development Project for MRT Dingpu Station, Tucheng Line”, “Government-led Urban Renewal Project for NTU Shaoxing S. St Properties”, “Government-led Urban Renewal Project for MRT Dazhi-Bei'an Section”, “Government-led Urban Renewal Project for MRT Technology Building-Rui'an Section” and “Government-led Urban Renewal Project for the Business Area on the East Wing of Nangang Transit Station”. The Invitation to Bid regarding the project “The creation of superficies for 13 lands, including 3rd Subsection, Gongyuan Sec., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City” will be published on January, 2016. “Land Development Project for Support Facilities of Neihu Technology Park” and “Government-led Urban Renewal Project for NTU Shaoxing S. St Properties” are estimated to be open for bid on March, 2016.

 

According to the Department of Finance (DoF), more than 85 firms and 220 participants, including construction companies and insurance industries attended the meeting. After the mutual communication, the illustration meeting ended successfully. TCG will collect and examine the opinions from the attendees respectfully and take them as valuable suggestions for issuing the tender documents. To facilitate the evaluation of these projects by potential bidders, relevant information will be posted on the website of Taipei City Joint Illustrations of Bidding.
