City to Set up Walk-in Station for COVID-19 (Moderna) Vaccine December 9-12

Poster promoting COVID-19 vaccinationIn response to rising cases of Omnicron variant across the globe and to boost the local vaccination rate, the Department of Health (DOH) has joined hands with local hospitals to set up vaccination clinic at the Taipei Expo Park to better serve the public.
Between December 9 and 11, the walk-in COVID-19 vaccination station at the park’s Expo Dome will offer Moderna shots for up to 500 individuals per session. There will be a morning session (9 AM – noon) and an afternoon session (1:30 PM – 4:30 PM) each day, with queue numbers being distributed starting 8:30 AM.
No reservation is required for the shots. There is also no nationality requirement for vaccine recipients. Those receiving a shot will also receive a gift voucher of NT$100 value before they leave the site.
However, vaccine recipient must meet one of the following requirements to be eligible for inoculation:

  1. Four weeks or more have passed since receiving his or her first Moderna vaccine shot
  2. Eight weeks or more have passed since receiving his or her first AZ vaccine shot
  3. Individual is 18 or older and has not received any COVID-19 vaccine shot
DOH calls upon the public to take advantage of this opportunity to receive their either their first or second dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Before visiting the walk-in station, please double-check to make sure you have the following documents: (1.) NHI Card, and (2.) COVID-19 vaccination record “Yellow” card.
