  Mayor Wan-An Chiang Invites Local & Foreign Experts to Participate at the Annual International Conference on Digital Government ResearchThe 25th Annual International Conference on Digital Government Research (dg.o 2024) will be co-hosted by National Taiwan University and Taipei City Government. The conference is scheduled to take place from June 11 to June 14, 2024, at the College of Social Sciences, National Taiwan University. The theme of this conference is "Internet of Beings: Transforming Public Governance," focusing on three keynote speeches, three special panel discussions, and 22 topics related to digital governance.  Taipei City Government would like to invite experts from various fields to actively participate.

 

  The dg.o conference, initiated in 2000, is organized by the global interdisciplinary organization "Digital Government Society". The society originated from the advocacy of the National Science Foundation in the United States and is dedicated to researching issues such as digital governance, technological innovation, and citizen participation. The conference has been held alternately in Europe, the Americas, and Asia in previous years. The 25th edition marks the first time it will be held in Taiwan, with joint organization by the Graduate Institute of Public Affairs, National Taiwan University and Taipei City Government in collaboration with institutions such as the Department of Public Administration, National Chengchi University and the Department of Public Administration, Chung Hua University. Through this internationally influential academic event, it creates a platform for professional knowledge exchange in Taipei.
