The Elderly Service Innovation and Vitality Center has launched: building a community care center for the elderly and the young

The Taipei City government has renovated the old Tanmei Elementary School into the Taipei eastern district's social welfare center. The third floor of the old school building is now the Elderly Service Innovation and Vitality Center, which functions as an exhibition venue and a community care enter for seniors. This center is managed by the National Association for the Promotion of Community Universities, which was commissioned by the Department of Social Welfare, Taipei City Government. Furthermore, there is also a nonprofit preschool and baby-care center, and in the future there will also be a community elderly daycare center. This facility serves as an example of integrating the young and the old, and building a paradise that brings together social welfare resources.
