Attention citizens when applying for equipment subsidies! Starting February 2022, the office for Taipei City equipment subsidy applications has changed

    Since February 1, 2022, the offices that accept equipment subsidy applications for the disabled and those under long-term care have changed from the city's 12 district offices to the 12 social welfare service centers. Three equipment centers and a Division of Welfare Services for the Disabled have been added as well, creating a total number of 16 offices city residents can apply to. After completing a self-evaluation for long-term care equipment subsidies, the equipment center will issue an application result and an approval number. City residents may approach specific companies and take home equipment after paying the amount of the cost not covered by the subsidy.
