The Project, “The Creation of Superficies of the City-Owned Land, Parcel No. 6, Subsection 3rd, Xinyi Sec., Xinyi Dist., Taipei City (Block A25)”, Has Been Open for the Third-Time Tender Since May 6, 2014. Investors from All Fields are Welcome.

The second-time tender for the project, "The Creation of Superficies of the City-Owned Land, Parcel No. 6, Subsection 3rd, Xinyi Sec., Xinyi Dist., Taipei City (Block A25)", managed by the Department of Finance (DOF) of Taipei City Government (TCG) was closed on April 28, 2014. Without any investors' participation, the DOF announced that the tender had failed, and then immediately reviewed the royalty and conditions of the tender. On May 6, 2014, the DOF announced that the tender was opened for the third time, soliciting investors from the private sector to join in the bidding.

The site is located at the north-east side of the intersection of Songgao Rd. and Songyong Rd. in Taipei City (as known as the Block A25 in Xinyi Planned District). With a total area of 18,022 square meters (about 5,452 pings) and the Assessed Present Value of NT$16.6 billion in 2014, the site, according to the Urban Planning, is categorized as the “Service Facilities District” (Special Zone for Xinyi Planned District), while the house building coverage ratio and floor area ratio are 40% and 400%, respectively. Because the Xinyi Planned District is the most prosperous sector in Taipei City, its advantages in location and transportation are outstanding. Furthermore, because the site is the biggest undeveloped piece of land available in the district, the predominance of the area is irreplaceable.

The DOF indicates that the superficies’ duration of the project is 50 years, while the base price of the royalty is changed to NT$ 17.28 billion, and related conditions of the tender, such as the financial qualification of investors, the time of royalty payment and performance bond, are modified, too. At the appointed time, the investors will bid according to the price of royalty, and the one with the highest royalty price will be the successful tenderer. For other detailed information about the qualification of investors and the regulations for investment, please refer to the tender documents of the project.

The tender submission will be closed by 5:00 p.m. on June, 23, 2014, and welcome investors with interest to join.
