Date Major Events January 10, 2014 Taipei Mayor Hau Lung-bin led a delegation to visit Taipei's sister cities: Guatemala City, Guatemala, Asuncion, Paraguay, and Houston, USA. The delegation returned on January 23. May 25, 2014 Deputy Mayor Chen Hsiung-wen led a delegation to Sydney, Australia, for the Taipei Pavilion at designEX2014, and had exchangs with local representatives. The delegation returned on June 1. May 26, 2014 Secretary-General of Taipei City Chen Yung-jen led a delegation to Adelaide, Australia, to attend the Velo-City Global 2014 and promote Taipei as the host city of WDC 2016. The delegation returned on May 31. May 31, 2014 Taipei Mayor Hau Lung-bin led a delegation to the World Cities Summit Mayors Forum in Singapore. The delegation returned on June 3. September 03, 2014 Taipei City Government organized the 5th UCLG ASPAC Congress Taipei 2014, which conluded on September 6.
