February 01, 2019The City Hall Management Office has designated the indoor and surrounding outdoor spaces of the City Hall as nonsmoking areas.
February 23, 2019Mayor Ko Wen-je attended, on the invitation of the Israeli government, the 33rd Annual International Mayors Conference, which ended on February 27. 
March 16, 2019Mayor Ko Wen-je led a delegation to New York, Washington D.C., and the two sister cities of Taipei city, Atlanta and Boston, in the Eastern United States; the visit ended on March 24.
March 18, 2019The Taipei City Government coordinated the dispatch of City Hall’s vehicles (stage one) into a single e-management system; the vehicles comprised those belonging to 11 departments and offices, namely the Hydraulic Engineering Office; New Construction Office; Secretariat; Department of Health; Department of Budget, Accounting, and Statistics; Department of Information and Tourism; Department of Labor; Department of Urban Development; Department of Finance; Department of Social Welfare; and Department of Civil Affairs.
April 02, 2019The Taipei City Government launched the 2019 Taipei City Government Project of E-Official Documents, Energy Conservation, and Paper Reduction. According to the yearly statistics, 35.33% of paper documents received were signed online, 92.31% of official documents were signed online, 98.00% of the meetings were conducted without the use of any paper-based meeting materials, and the amount of paper purchased was reduced by 7.16%. Thus, the energy-conservation and paper-reduction policy has been implemented effectively.
April 29, 2019Taipei City became a sister city of Belmopan, the capital of Belize, which is a Central American country that Taiwan has diplomatic relations with. A treaty of friendship was signed in the Taipei City Council building by Mayor Ko Wen-je, Speaker Chen Chin-hsiang of the Taipei City Council, and Mayor Khalid Belisle of Belmopan. 
May 13, 2019The Taipei City Government’s Secretariat; Research, Development, and Evaluation Commission; and Department of Government Ethics cohosted the 2019 Word Processing Course. The course comprised four phases and ended on May 16, with 312 participants.
May 23, 2019Mayor Ko Wen-je led a delegation to Japan to attend the 2019 Taiwan–Japan Summit Tourism Forum in Toyama Prefecture and visit Tokyo, Fukushima Prefecture, and Miyagi Prefecture for field surveys on their city-governance practices, including those relating to disaster prevention and post-disaster recovery. The visit to Japan ended on May 26.
June 21, 2019The Secretariat of Taipei City Government held the Networking Event for Heads of Taipei City Government Agencies, in which Mayor Ko Wen-je led the heads of first-level agencies of Taipei City Government to visit Taitung County for an exchange seminar on local governance. The event ended on June 23. 
June 29, 2019The Secretariat of Taipei City Government held the Networking Event for Heads of Taipei City Government Agencies, in which Mayor Ko Wen-je led heads of first-level agencies of Taipei City Government to visit Pingtung County for a field survey on the county governance and for an exchange symposium on local governance
July 03, 2019Mayor Ko Wen-je led a delegation to Shanghai for the 2019 Taipei–Shanghai City Forum and to Kunshan for an exchange on city governance. The visit to China ended on July 5.
August 02, 2019The Secretariat of Taipei City Government conducted an archival appraisal on all records for 1950–1976. As approved by the National Archives Administration of National Development Council, 17 records were to be transferred to the National Archives Repository, 313 were to be permanently archived by the Taipei City Government, and 301 were to be temporarily archived by the Taipei City Government. The appraisal facilitated the effective practice of planned record deposition. 
September 20, 2019The Secretariat of Taipei City Government held the Networking Event for Heads of Taipei City Government Agencies, in which Mayor Ko Wen-je led heads of first-level agencies of Taipei City Government to visit Lienchiang County for a field survey on the county’s governance and for an exchange symposium on local governance. The event ended on September 22.
November 19, 2019The Secretariat of Taipei City Government hosted the 2019 Introductory Course on Records Management. The course comprised three phases and ended on November 21, with 102 participants.
November 21, 2019Taipei City was awarded the Prosperity and Inclusive City Seal and Awards by Biscay, Spain, making it the only city in Asia to win the award.
November 26, 2019The Secretariat of Taipei City Government hosted the 2019 Advanced Course on Records Management. The course comprised two phases and ended on November 29, with 126 participants.
