Polish Office in Taipei donated 1500 pieces of medical protective clothing to the medical personnel in Taipei
On May 28, 2021, Bartosz Ryś, Acting Director General of the Polish Office in Taipei, and Marcin Jaskuła, CEO of Nomi Biotech, visited the Taipei City Government to donate 1,500 medical protective clothing for Taipei City’s medical personnel. The donation was received by Mayor Ko Wen-je.

Acting Director General Ryś stated that as a sister city of Warsaw, Taipei donated one million face masks to Warsaw during the pandemic last year. In appreciation of Taiwan’s support, Poland reciprocated the favor by donating said epidemic prevention materials. The boxes containing such materials featured the following remark: “Love from Poland, Stay Healthy, Taipei!”

Mayor Ko expressed his gratitude to Acting Director General Ryś, and indicated that the protective clothing would be sent to front-line medical personnel. The help and support from cities worldwide as the epidemic situation escalates is truly heartwarming. Taipei will continue to work jointly with cities worldwide to overcome the pandemic.
