The Media Affairs Division is in charge of promoting public relations and releasing news for the Taipei City Government, facilitating communication between the news media and the public, and polling public opinion. The Division’s responsibilities include:

•Writing and submitting press releases

•Organizing press conferences

•Publishing the Mayor’s public schedules

•Arranging interviews for the Mayor

•Compiling and conveying public opinions
