Sales of Public Parking Lot Monthly Pass Now Requires Online Registration, Drawing of Lots

An underground parking lot Taipei City Parking Management and Development Office (PMDO) stated that in light of the COVID-19 outbreak, to minimize the risk of community-acquired infection among citizens while waiting in the queue to purchase the monthly pass and to save people’s time, sales of the city’s public parking lot monthly pass will now require online registration and drawing of lots starting from February.

According to the PMDO, disabled drivers will be able to purchase the monthly pass first at the parking lots on the 23rd and 24th of every month. For the regular monthly pass, the only registration date was originally from 07:00 on the 10th until midnight on the 20th of every month, but it has been changed to 07:00 (10th)-14:00 (25th), while the drawing of lots date will be changed from 11:00 on the 21st to 15:00 on the 25th every month.

The payment deadline will be adjusted from midnight on the 24th to midnight on the 28th monthly. In the future, a monthly pass purchase schedule will be implemented according to the abovementioned time (registration website: https://monthtkt.pma.gov.tw/park/).

For more ticketing-related issues, please contact the PMDO or PMDO-affiliated paid parking lots and the management office staff will be at your service.

The PMDO would like to remind the public to pay attention to the ticketing schedule in order not to miss the registration deadline, and they are encouraged to make use of online payments to minimize the inconvenience of going to the parking lot.
